Welcome to the Big Clock Company

When my grandfather, an avid clockmaker and repairer, died at the age of 91 I inherited his horological eyeglasses, boxes of carefully labelled tools and equipment, but more importantly I inherited his passion for beautifully crafted and individual timepieces.

This legacy stood me in good stead when I couldn’t find a clock big enough for my own kitchen. Using the skills he taught me in his workshop, I decided to make my own and the Big Clock Company was formed. Initially orders placed came from friends and family who loved the personal service we provided.

Once established orders for bespoke clocks were placed by hotels and schools as well as by individuals in the media. Jamie Oliver loved the huge clock we made for his restaurant “15” and Katie Price and Peter Andre had theirs painted in Katie’s favorite colour – pink.

Our bespoke service provides:

• Aluminum surrounds which are hand-spun and then powdered coated:
• Hand painted clock surrounds in either traditional black or cream or in a paint of your choice, including Farrow and Ball:
• A polished surround for an additional charge of £50
• An individualised dial with your chosen logo, family name, commemorative date, etc.
• Clocks in three sizes :-

- small with a diameter of …….. £….

- medium with a diameter of …. £

- large with a diameter of … £

Why not sent us your requirements and we will provide you with a “mock up” for your own design. This service is free of charge. With such a large scope we guarantee to provide something really special. Who knows and individual timepiece from the Big Clock Company could become part of your legacy.
